Raising the Bar 2

Serving is a critical element of our work life. But the need to serve is much bigger than work.

We are called to serve those in need…the poor, the sick, the widows...

Last year, WorkMatters discovered that a critical basic human need…a bar of soap…could not be purchased using the SNAP program (formerly known as the Food Stamp program). Consequently, there is an enormous need for soap! As a result, in 2011 WorkMatters launched the "Raising the Bar" campaign. An aggressive goal was set to collect 10,000 bars of soap, culminating at our WorkMatters Leadercast event in May. Individuals and companies responded in powerful ways…contributing 12,356 bars!

The Need
This basic need continues to be a major problem! Therefore, WorkMatters has announced the 2012 "Raising the Bar 2 " campaign! Our ministry leaders have come together and set an even higher goal in 2012 of 15,000 bars of soap

Who Will Receive the Soap?
Of course, the ultimate destination for the soap is the individuals and families in need. We have partnered with two fantastic organizations…LifeSource (Washington County) and Samaritan House (Benton County). All donated soap will be equally divided between these two organizations to distribute.

How Can You Give?
WorkMatters is accepting any quantity of soap donated from individuals, companies, churches, etc. Some companies will embrace Raising the Bar 2  as their internal serving campaign and raise money to buy soap to donate. We also accept any financial donation as well which will simply be used to purchase soap to donate. Click below if you'd like to make a financial donation.
Thank you Marco Reyes for making our first donation on March 6!

Where Can You Give?
Soap or financial donations can be brought to all WorkMatters events. It can also be delivered to WorkMatters offices at 4476 N Waterside Ct in Fayetteville view map.
