"I got enough fuel and ideas from the event to start a revolution!" This from the CEO of a company that attended our fifth annual WorkMatters Leadership Conference on April 18. Here is another email from a 30 year old emerging leader following the conference - "you have no idea how much you changed my life."
What an incredible privilege it is for us to help you see the gift of work! It consumes so much of our lives and we have such an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those we interact with Monday - Friday. But so many of us simply treat work as a necessary evil. When Christians catch a vision for how they can "bridge the gap between faith and work", work changes, life changes, marriage changes, parenting changes, quality of life changes, and our relationship with God changes!
Thanks to the hundreds of men and women who invested a day of their lives not only for some leadership development, but also for the inspiration and life change that often accompanies taking a step towards God.
I look forward to seeing you in three weeks at our season ending May 16 Eight-to-Five Unplugged breakfast. Don't miss it! You have an opportunity to change the course of your 2008 as Steve Graves has us hit the pause button to discuss having "The Summer of Your Life: Making Progress Where it Matters Most."
Grateful, David Roth, President |

How often do you read a book that really captivates you? You know...the kind of book that has you stealing a few minutes in the morning before you go to work or actually keeps you from falling asleep at night? That was the impact Patrick Lencioni's latest New York Times best-seller had on me.

"There's a New Kid in Town"
Based on scripture found in 1 Timothy 1:18, "Timothy, my son, I give you this instruction" Sam Bates encourages us to look for opportunities to help those who are at the beginning of their career or are new to our organizations. Our influence is one powerful way we can be about the Lord's business in the workplace.

WorkMatters Leadership Conference a Success!
The fifth annual WorkMatters Leadership conference was held on Friday, April 18 and was considered our best ever! Nearly 1,000 tickets were sold to business leaders from over 130 companies who gathered for a day of learning, inspiration, and life change! The WorkMatters Leadership Conference site was the largest of over 400 simulcast locations in North America.
The speaker line-up was fantastic. The ideas and information shared by the speakers was thought-provoking and inspired participants to learn to advance at work and in life. Executive Summaries are now available to download!
