The Joseph Project 2010 Advance Workshop
Nearly 100 people attended the Joseph Project 2010 Advance Workshop last Wednesday, February 5, many of which had never attended a Joseph Project meeting before. Workshop participants found a welcoming environment and were provided with helpful job search skills, networking opportunities, as well as hope and encouragement.
The Joseph Project continues to be a valuable resource to business people between jobs in northwest Arkansas. On the same day as the Workshop, 300 people were released from their jobs at Wal-Mart. We encourage you to tell anyone you know between jobs about The Joseph Project and invite them to our weekly meetings.
Participant Comments
"The workshop was very helpful to me. The topics were just right and just what I needed to hear about. Chris Haas speaking from experience about cost cutting was insightful and made it easier to accept. The interview role play was so good and having the panel of HR experts to answer our questions was absolutely top drawer. I believe you hit a home run on this one!" - Paul
"I thought it (the workshop) was great for many reasons. Denise's presentation was rare advance job seeking advice. Chris Haas' presentation was a bulls eye. Having Stephanie there for one-on-one resume help was a unique opportunity (thanks to Denise and Stephanie for their individual contibution and for Cameron for his generous support of lending his staff)." - Stephen
"The Advance Workshop last week was both enjoyable & beneficial...where else could you get the practical/professional expertise and input, especially free and with a christian perspective?" - Dan
