ROGERS - John Denefe of Rogers lost his job one year ago during a large cutback at Wal-Mart. A year later, he has been on about 80 interviews and does not have a job. Denefe, 59, worked in the information services division keeping computers and programs communicating with each other since 1998. He is one of about 75 people who attended The Joseph Project's sessions on Wednesday. The Joseph Project is a ministry of the nonprofit WorkMatters, which provides leadership workshops and one-on-one coaching and bridges the gap between faith and the business world.
