Favorite Bible Verse:
“The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, ‘Abba, Father.’ The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.” – Romans 8:15-17

Joined the Team:
August 2018

Training Ground:
After graduating from college in 2004, Tim returned home to Seattle to work as communications director of a small, faith-based nonprofit that supported the education and well-being of orphaned and at-risk children in developing countries. Tim’s heart for business-as-mission led him to leave the organization in 2009 and move to Washington, DC, to gain valuable experience in the retail space.

Tim and his wife, Laura, lived a combined 22 years in the District of Columbia, most recently working together under Pastor Mark Batterson at National Community Church, in Washington, DC, where Tim served as Social Media Strategist and Laura as Small Groups Pastor. They moved their family to Northwest Arkansas in August 2018 to follow a shared passion for faith and work by serving the mission of Workmatters.

Tim is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) with a passion for business as mission, Lean Six Sigma, and building community. He specializes in process improvement, marketing, data analysis, and creative and technical development across multiple social platforms.

Yes. I have a heart for social justice and advocacy, both at home and abroad, and believe that even though we get in the way from time to time, the message of Christ is relevant to all people everywhere.
