For over sixteen years, Workmatters has been in the business of redefining how Christians approach work. Our organization, like countless others around the world, has had to change up our routine and lean into the creativity of our team to rethink our approach to work, but our call remains the same: to equip one million leaders of faith in ten thousand companies by 2025.
The Workmatters Conference is our biggest community equipping event of the year, and 2020 will be no exception. Proverbs 15:22 says that “Without counsel plans fail, but with many advisors they succeed” (ESV). So over the past couple of months, we have consulted with members of our board, stakeholders, and others regarding this year’s Workmatters Conference, which is set for October 23.
Today, we are announcing that we have made the decision to err on the side of caution and take this year’s conference digital. From main stage to workshops, the Workmatters Conference will stream live on Friday, October 23. This year’s conference will look different than in years past, but if we have learned anything over the past several months, it is that building workplace community is more about intentionality than physical proximity.
We will be announcing the full speaker lineup and opening ticket sales next week, on Tuesday, May 26, so please stay tuned as we have other exciting details to share as well.
