by | Jun 13, 2022

To our Workmatters friends and fans,

After achieving our vision in 2021 to equip 1 million leaders of faith in 10,000 companies by 2025, it became clear that it was time to grow our team in preparation for what God is doing next through Workmatters.

Today, we are thrilled to announce three additions to our Team to fill three new positions!

Jackie Johnson – Director of Growth
Jackie Johnson has joined our team as Director of Growth. Jackie is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and brings a breadth of experience to our team that is perfect for this new role. Over the past 15 years, she has garnered extensive operations and client relations experience. Her experience leading the go-to-market strategy and execution for two different companies in Orange County, Calif. and Denver, Colo. will bring vital insight as we work to scale the Workmatters Institute. She will lead a Growth Team that is focused on customer acquisition, activation, and retention, ultimately moving people to sustained engagement with Workmatters. Connect with Jackie here.

“I was surprised to see a nonprofit stepping out so boldly and uniquely on how to implement Biblical principles in the workplace,” said Jackie. “I think that any follower of Jesus would want to be a part of an organization that provides a platform to discover a new vision for their work. What I see at Workmatters is God moving in a great and mighty way in which the world has never seen before.”

Jackie has a passion for connecting and engaging with people from all walks of life. She has her own consulting business and in her free time enjoys gardening, listening to music, and going to the river with her two children.

Frank Sanchez – Director of Operations
We also welcome Frank Sanchez as our new Director of Operations! Frank holds an MBA from Stanford and has worked in consulting, product marketing, and operations roles across a variety of industries and companies, including McKinsey, General Mills, and Walmart Field Operations. Most recently Frank has been an entrepreneur, building two franchise companies. This combination of product marketing, operations, and entrepreneurial experience will take our operational capacity to another level, building the systems, processes, and infrastructure that enables us to scale.

When asked about his new role at Workmatters, Frank said, “I passionately believe in the mission of integrating faith and work — I look forward to investing my talents to further the kingdom through my role at Workmatters. I am excited to bring the gospel to work and help equip and transform future leaders through faith.”

Frank is a California native who moved to Northwest Arkansas with his wife, Erin, about 10 years ago. Frank is a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan, enjoys grilling with his wife and cockapoo, Licorice, and likes to listen to Chris Tomlin radio on Pandora. Connect with Frank here.

Jessica Simms – Community Manager
I am also excited to announce that Jessica Simms, our current Marketing Manager, is transitioning this summer into our crucial new role of Community Manager! Jessica joined the team in July 2021 and made an immediate impact on our marketing communication and social media strategies. She is also a recent participant in the 2022 WMI-Arkansas cohort and quickly became an outspoken champion and informal leader of that class! Connect with Jessica here.

The new Community Manager position is critical to our strategy to recruit national next-generation leaders to the Workmatters Institute, as well as build a distinct Workmatters Community of Institute alumni across the United States. We felt Jessica’s skills and experience in marketing, along with her love for community, relationship building, and Workmatters, she will be the perfect fit for this new role. Jessica will be working across sales and customer success at Workmatters, developing relationships and partnerships to gain new and continued participation of Workmatters Institute participants and alumni nationally.

Workmatters has been praying for new, game-changing team leaders that God will use to transform the lives of thousands of next generation leaders. And God certainly answered!
