This week’s video featured Jon Tyson, lead pastor of the Church of the City of New York. Jon shared the revelation he had that all work matters to God and can be used as part of God’s redemptive plan.
God has called us to engage in all kinds of work – the work of teaching, creating products, selling, building cities, running enterprises, serving customers, designing marketing campaigns, practicing law, reporting the news, and on and on. No matter what industry and position we find ourselves called to, our first and greatest responsibility is do it all for God.
Challenge yourself this week to shift your perspective on the work you do each day.
- Reframe your work as a holy calling from God and be intentional about partnering with God in your work through prayer.
- Commit each meeting, each task and each project to the Lord this week.
- Ask God to show you how He wants to use your work in His redemptive plan.
