About Me
I am an old cat lady at heart. I love a good book recommendation. I’d choose the mountains over the beach but don’t like cold weather. My love language is quality time.
Faith
I had the blessing of growing up in a Christian home and being involved in church from a young age. When I was in junior high I went on a mission trip where I learned more in depth about Jesus’ disciples. It was then that I realized Jesus chose people like myself, broken and all to follow him. That perspective changed my life.
Fun
My favorite thing to do on my day off is go to a coffee shop with my family or a friend. I’m also a sucker for a good card or board game. In my free time you will likely see me with an airpod in listening to a different book every day.
Favorite Author
There’s no way I can choose just one! John Mark Comer and Francis Chan are my favorite Christian authors.
B. A. Paris is my favorite thriller author. I will read every single new book she releases. I cannot put them down.
Best Advice
Remember that you never know the kind of day that someone is having.
Listen To
Currently, as I fill this out, John Mayer. I am a sucker for Taylor Swift too though.
Most of the time, lately, an audiobook.
Dream Destination
It used to be anywhere in Europe, but I had the opportunity to study abroad in Europe my senior year. That being said, it might still be Europe. Hahaha. I’d love to go back and visit countries I didn’t get to, but I do not have a specific one in mind.
Ok, actually Greece.
Most People Don’t Know About Me
I took four years of Latin, used to throw discus and shotput in junior high, and had a massive beanie baby collection when I was little.
“So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.”
-2 Corinthians 4:16-18
